Ely Garage Graffiti project
Ely Garage Project is renovating an old building to be used as a youth arts venue and social centre. A group of young people stepped forward to take part in producing new murals to decorate this building. They brainstormed in a session supported by Harambee's Global Youth Action project for global issues to form the basis of the murals. Then with the support of Kilo from the hiphop artist agency SinCru these were transformed into huge wall sized murals. The resulting art will decorate an outside wall (the mural on diversity) and the cafeteria inside (the food mural naturally).
